i use FLitz alot for brass, SS, rust removal.  Also, when i get a new gun, i will give it a once over using Flitz.

im not sure about using it for silverware. but if i did, i would give them a good washing afterwards.

I use Wenol on aluminum rims. This is the only product I found (by a $1 demo on my hot rod) that returns rims to the same shine they had when new.  There is a red tube and a blue tube.  The red is more coarse and gets neglected metal close and the blue finishes it off.  My Alcoas always looked as good as new after 10+ years in the sun.

I have used Brasso to remove haze and build-up from windshields.

I use nevr-dull to remove carbon from stainess revolver cylinders.

Mother's Mag Polish is good stuff.
Never Dull ( spelling ) is good stuff.
Flitz is good stuff as well.

Read all the containers and don't be scared to buy more than one polishing product. I'm a firm believer that no one magic bottle will solve all your problems.......cept maybe for Captain Morgans.
