I'm looking to replace our crappy gas logs with a set that actually puts out some heat. This is to be used as a SHTF backup heat source. The ones we have put out almost zero heat with the damper closed or open. I assume they are the vented type. The room is about 20x25 and has a high ceiling, about 20'. Should I look at ventless for maximum heat output? What BTU rating? I see Lowe's has some for sale, anyone used them? |
