| Heavy duty field mechanic here, working out of Fort McMurray, Alberta. Fix it all at any time, any weather down to -50 or so. Field repair as required. Units you see on the discovery channel are units that I have repaired and operated. Vac trucks, drill rigs, shovels, haulers, gensets or light plants, they all show thier weaknesses when it gets cold. |

I sir was a Millwright for over 20 years. Including welding, pipefitter and machinist. I worked Nuclear and Fossil Generation. Now I am taking it easy. I am a Safety officer for a city government in Arizona. Will retire in about two years and move back to good ole NC and work part time in an Ace Hardware store making keys and fixin window screens.

| Well, right now I am an Aviation Ordnanceman on F/A 18C's, but when I get out I am going back to the HVAC thing, I got my associates degree in that before I joined. Hopefully the job market will be back on its feet by then. |

MAin Job is Oilfield(parts manager) but my side fun is building poker tables. I have built 39 in the last6-7 years(only built about 6-7 in the last 4 years- to many projects and not enough time).. Heres a few pictures of a few tables- enjoy!

communications technician. I spent 36 years as a cable splicer/cable maintenance/repair tech. Retired from a local telco in Alaska and went to work for an electrical contractor. 3rd year there so far. I kind of do everything now. Run backhoe/excavators and dozers. Splice cable when the need calls for it. Hang strand and lash cable/fiber. Do alot of traveling around the state. "Dig the holes, plant the poles, string the golden wire. Kiss the girls, twist their curls, set their pants on fire". Just a little poem someone wrote on one of our show up shacks.

Auto repair by trade for over 15 years in the last 4 years I have worked as a parts counterperson at a NAPA auto parts store. I still supplement my income with part time repair work. I am ASE certified and have been Chrysler certified in the past. Chrysler corp 1997-04 is my specialty in most areas. Most of the repair type work I focus on now has to do with driveability. I however am aware that I do not know everything and I like to learn that is why I keep my ASE's up. Any one with any questions on napa or chrysler stuff fell free to im me, who knows I might learn something also.

I am a third generation sheet rock man. My gran paw started doing sheet rock when it replaced lathe and plaster work here in the south.
can do it all from hanging to finishing. Only thing I have not done is knock down finish since it never caught on down here in the south...well they do it in Florida but not in most other southern states. due to the recent decline in building I am probably (if things work out) soon to be employed with a major NASCAR racing team..hopefully

I am a Supervisor for a Concrete flooring company. I've done it all except finishing.usually we are there way after that.
Tile,Epoxy, terrazzo, polished concrete, dyeing, etching, decorative, and expantion joint repairs. I am sort of a jack of all trades and master of none except concrete flooring. Worked commerical construction,framing and finish, for 2 years, built modular homes for 1 year, and the above 4 years. |

I am third generation Drive Line specialist, owner /operator and head technician of Master Tech Transmissions ®. I have been rebuilding automatic and manual transmissions since they were made of Cast Iron, and still do. I rebuilt automatic and manual transmissions, transfer cases and differential for any make and model. 40 plus years and still counting.

I'm a CO (central office) tech for a telecommunications company. 10+ years (A 5E tech for you telecom whores out there) I also support VOIP (voice over IP), internet and all sorts of data circuits. I also help a friend wire comercial buildings for networks.
I also own rental properties. So I'm a "Slumlord" if you will.
Not sure how I can help anyone out other than how but am more than willing if anyone has a question. |

Airplane Mechanic. I was certificated back in Dec 98, however I have some previous MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) experience. Most, hell all of my experience is on what's called Transport Category aircraft, aka heavy tin over 12,500 lbs. Oct will mark 10 years working for Delta Air Lines, with the bulk of it in Line Maintenance where we're the pointy tip of the spear. Before going into LE, I ran an 8-employee residential framing/remodeling company. We placed an emphasis on turn-key additions, like carports, garages, and workshops––from planning to completion. I have experience in framing, roofing, fiber-cement/wood siding, decks, and tile/laminate floors. I also did my share of door replacements, trim carpentry, and drywall/painting.
I still do small jobs on the side for cash, and I still love the smell of freshly cut pine/spruce!

Now a remodeling/ Handyman ,I can just about repair anything due to a lifetime curiosity of how things work.As a kid I took everything apart ,radios, BB guns, batteries, its a wonder I'm still alive .Many shocks and explosions ,I also tore up a lot of shit but now I can figure out almost anything mechanical or electronic related.I will gladly help whoever I can,most home appliances are simple and all made by the same manufacturers so the differences are a name only most of the time. I do a lot at Yahoo answers also .I just use a different name there . E-mail or IM and I will do what I can for you. |

I also had a framing company (in the Mobile area) but I got out while the getting was still good. Last time I talked to some associates there, they were really getting the shaft due to the economy. |

.Im currently doing Flat work, Exposed, Stamp, Staining, Polishing, Micro Tops,Concrete repair, Underlayment, Overlays, Stampable overlays, Epoxy/ Poly Espartic and vertical stamp. During the winter i travel and do training for various manufactuers Brickform, Scofield, Old Castle, Proline, Fossilcrete..Ive worked all over the world. I own a Fab/Machine shop In lincolnton GA, anything from welding, brake, milling, and lathe work and i am also the lead man over the R&D department of a company that manufactures windshields for golf carts and builds handi-cap scooters and golfcarts. My grandfather started it with e-z-go not long after they started up so i can do almost anything when it comes to an e-z-go golfcart. |
