Adding 7/16 OSB over old plank Subflooring.   This is for a fiberglass shower installation.
Do I need an felt underlay or just a plastic vapor barrier between the OSB n plank subflooring?

Should I use an adhesive between them or just underlayment n screw it down good?

Any guidance appreciated.

I didn't replace the floor on mine but painted it with a coating I found at Lowes (googling now) I wouldn't use OSB myself

found it

Just use actual X-grade (waterproof glue) plywood.

I wouldn't use OSB.

But at least it will tell you if there's a leak fasterĀ

IIRC, some codes prohibit OSB in showers/tubs
