Did an addition on my deck the last couple Saturdays, and since it is about to be complete I was getting ready to add the steps. My buddy suggested adding a slide onto the area I was going to add the steps, but buying a premade slide would involve cutting the slide. It will be 3’ wide so my daughter can roll her car down it and about 3’ from the ground so with the angle it would need to be however long. I figure wood would be a bad idea with weather and have been thinking about other methods but just can’t get the idea going. I’ve thought about fiberglassing it but again not cost effective. Basically just seeing if anyone has any ideas.

frame it with leftover treated lumber and sheet it with stainless or aluminum. add rails to the sides.

My buddy did this on  a hillside in his backyard. His slide is about 60 feet long.
