I have a Kenmore Calypso washing machine. I did a load of laundry this morning with no problems. On the next load, the panel did not respond when I hit the "normal" key to start it up. The only key that did work was the "stop/cancel" key. Hitting that one brought the display up as though I hit the "normal" key, but it still won't start washing. None of the other keys do anything. I took off the panel to access the electronics and a blue wire looped to itself on a two pin connector fell out. I can't see anywhere to reconnect it. Anybody have any ideas????

I went to the Laundromat and washed the remaining stuff. When I came home, I gave a try for the heck of it. It fired right up. The blue wire in question has not been plugged into anything. WTH???

OPen the back of the machine and retrieve the schematic diagram they always tuck inside.  This will tell you where  the blue wire goes.

Often, the schematic will also include troubleshooting procedures.
