I want to be able to make one, but not a nut, just in a piece of metal where a threaded rod will go through, but would like to have pushbutton to be able to quickly collapse or extend it when needed and be able to make fine adjustment. It will not deal with much load or be tightend up at all.
I've got some ideas but would like to see what others got for idea or if theres a actual way of doing this. I am a CNC machinist so I will be making everything from stratch except for the threaded rod. |
