I have a Homelite 25cc weedeater engine that had been sitting for a while. After cleaning the carb and finding the h and l screws were turned all the in I tried tuning it but the motor won't run without the choke being on and it won't idle. It makes no differance where the low needle is as far as idling goes.
Anybody have any ideas? Also the plug is good, I'm using fresh gas and no air filter. |

I'm no expect but will give you what I know. The H screw actually controls the idle. Bottom out both screws then turn them out 1 and 1/2 full turns. This might help: |
