so my vinyl liner got a 3 foot long tear in it a week or so ago
my pool is about 20 years old and i'm on my 3rd liner. should i just get anther liner or is there any newer technologies out there that might work. a buddy said they have "spray in" liner material thats better but i know nothing about the latest stuff out there. any suggestions? |

Hmmm, a liner should last 10-15 years. Could there be a chemical imbalance in the water degrading the liner? Are the liners breaking in the same spot? There may be something on the panels cutting the liner. I haven't come across a "spray liner" but I have seen liner pools fiber glassed. Probably expensive though. I would go for a thicker liner and better backing padding. |

+1 Is the liner tearing on the seam Do you have a standard size pool or custom. pictures would help with measurements? what type of floor sand or a pool base product [hard] To bad your in GA could use some side work |
