| Looking to do some chain link fence, Longest length is about 65 feet. How short do you cut the fence to allow it to be stretched to length? The fence will be 4 ft tall. |
You stretch it with a fence puller, secure it and then cut it. That will give you the exact length that you need. Trying to determine the length of it before you stretch it will have you pulling your hair out and winding up bald and with a slack fence.  You can also determine how tight you want it while stretching, sort of a 'play it by ear' tensioning method.
