I agree with this.  See if any of the writing on that says what voltage and amperage is needed and get the proper transformer and wire it direct.

It's that way for a reason––please don't just cut the plug off and replace it with a normal 120 plug.

I can see 20W/12V. So it definitely needs a transformer.
