Couldn't see a topic in the last three months, so...

Finally got round to watching this last night and was pleasantly surprised....

The fight sequences were well choreographed and the car chase/crash scenes were plentiful (if a little unbelieveable ) .... the bracelets were a cool gimmick..

Plenty of one liners and a suitably nasty villain lets me give this one a solid 7/10

I'll wait until TBS or Spike plays it 5 times a day for a month & watch it for free. T2 was a turd. The part where he scraped the bomb off the bottom of the audi by rolling it midair and contacting the crane pretty much sealed it for me.

I will see it eventually.  Loved the first one, hated the second.  This better redeem itself.

They fucked up the possibility of a good series trying to make it a big budget flick.

I liked it. In fact, I thought it was better made than the last Bond flick.

But I did have some problems with it. The love interest was a dog! Was that Jason's real muscles, or edited in? If not, he is in very good shape.

And no matter how many times I watch the Transporter movies, I still can't get excited about an Audi.

Haven't seen the flick yet but I'm pretty sure he's just in really good shape. If you notice in all of the movies he's in he always has a good physique, of late (Death Race) he seems to be getting leaner.

I read a magazine article about him awhile back and the interviewer mentioned he was really active and never stopped... Also he constantly trains different Martial Arts (which ever art he feels will help him for his next role).

Mens Health had an article about his workout awhile back I think.

(No Homo) just a Statham fan.

Looking forward to the movie, haven't had a chance to see it yet though. Hopefully its not too over the top.

I liked the movie overall. There were a few scenes that pushed it over the top, but as a whole it was still a good flick and better than the second one.

It was just plain horrible. Having a car that works just fine after being submerged in a lake is far and away the dumbest thing I have seen in a movie this year.

I read somewhere that he was on England's diving team. Those guys are usually in shape. Transporter 2 did suck, except for that scene where he fought Shannon Briggs, that was pretty good. I get the feeling that Statham is probably pretty tough.

He was on a diving team, I think he took 12th in the world championships...
