Dunno if I spelled it right. He is doing an awesome job acting. I have enjoyed every movie I have seen him in, but he needs to be getting more major roles and stop being a sidekick to big name actors. |
??? His last two movies prior to Indiana Jones were Transformers and Disturbia and he was lead in both of those movies. As far as taking the "sidekick" role here, it was a career move as it is is Indiana Jones a movie that will end up making over $500 million worldwide. Between this and Transformers and Transformers 2 coming out next year, his marketability as a big name actor is through the roof. Which translates into $$$$$$$. That being said I do really like him as an actor. |

He's a realy good actor. Steven Spielberg said he is the next Tom Hanks. His new movie Eagle Eye looks very entertaining. The correct spelling of his name is:Shia LaBeouf |
![]() Tom Hanks isn't an especially good actor, but he's likable and has this genuine ordinary-type guy vibe he can express on camera. Shia La Bouef will never have that on account of his name alone. I don't know where this push to make him a star comes from other than his parents must be buddies with Hollywood elite. |
Gee, you must have pretty high standards. He's only been nominated for five Best Actor Academy Awards and won two... |
Seriously though. Then again I haven't seen raven say anything good about any movies or actors that have been discussed in this forum that have come out in the last 20 years. |
Well, he is OK, but he is no Jimmy Stewart. |
![]() I'd have to agree. The dude Now he's in another big-budget Hollywood suck-fest and we're supposed to admire all this? Sorry, no thanks. ![]() ETA: He did an "ok" job in Disturbia, in my opinion, but the guy is no super-star. ETA2: to summarize, "Don't Believe the Hype"

The only reason he's going places now is because Spielberg likes him. Look at how long it's taken Hillary Duff to break out from the Disney mold. I remember when he was on Even Stevens... so if I where him, I wouldn't be complaining! With all the ex-Disney people out there, he's probably the most successful, with Hillary Duff in second. |
Neither of them are making Miley Cyrus money. Nor will they ever. Strangely, both are much more talented than Cyrus. Go figure.

Guess I'm old. I don't even know who the fuck "Tyrese" is. |
www.imdb.com/name/nm0879085/ He's been in, Transformers, Annapolis, waist deep, 2 fast 2 furious, four brothers, |
Hmmm... learn somthin' new every day. |
How do you get this info.. |
You mean like lohan. I know she ain't dead yet but if keeps on the drugs she'll see the same fate as James Dean. |
She's going to go back in time to the 1950's and crash a race car? |
He wasn't that big of a name when he was cast for Transformers. After the success of the first one plus Indy and Eagle Eye which looks like it's going to be good he will probably be looking at 10-12 million for Transformers 2. He has a contract for three Transformers movies but the salaries are rarely set in stone. |

No you goober, the drugs will kill her too. |

To me he's a dumb ass and gets PAID for it. I saw Transformers with my son. First thing I'm thinking when I see him, and all during the movie is an over-achieving drama queen dumb ass. Then when I see him in the Indiana movie with Harrison Ford, I'm thinking over-achieving drama queen dumb ass again. I like getting into a movie when I go see one and he just turns me off with his acting drama antics. Sorry, but I don't see him in the light some others place him in. Just my opinion. |
Exactly. All hype, and I'm not buying it. It's difficult enough to get past the name, but even making allowances for that, I think he is a no-talent. |
+1 though I enjoyed Transformers. Indiana Jones was ok. All this "talk" about him just makes me go though. Who the hell cares? He's not some great actor.

though. Who the hell cares?
He's not some great actor.
