Ok this was an outstanding movie.  Alot of great acting and great singing by Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter and the rest of the cast.  I have always loved Tim Burton's films and Depp is an outstand actor.

This is easily up there in my top favorites of Burton's films.

If you don't mind watching a musical I and like Burton's or Depp's work then I would recommend this to you.

I would love to buy the rights, strip out the songs and remake it as a pure horror film. Nothing fucks up a good story like songs where they're not needed.

+1

I had to really convince myself to watch it, but once I did, I was pleasantly surprised.

Just fast forward through the singing and it works out pretty good.

I didn't like the movie at all. I wouldn't take a copy if someone gave it to me. I think that the acting was good, but the singing just killed it for me.

It was probably a great movie, but the voices and music were off on the DVD I got. The music was retardly loud, and when anybody spoke you could barely hear them.

Loved it, bought it, and can't get the songs out of my head. I like to sing "A little Priest" while at work when we are eating our lunch

I like several musicals: Little Shop of Horror, South Park the movie, Phantom of the Opera.  Just to name a few.

Wife convinced me to go see it. She loved it. I hated it. Not a big fan of musicals. Grease is about the only one I can stand to watch.

I never saw it but after watching the trailer, I thought about switching to shaving with a straight razor.

I sometimes start singing "Epiphany" when I'm at Walmart just to freak people out. www.youtube.com/watch?v=rI1muWt0vho

The only thing I hate worse than singing in movies would be singing in a Tim Burton movie.
