I know it's been out a while. I searched the Movie forum and saw nothing about it.

Pretty good zombie flick for you zombie fans.

Plenty zombie rooftop sniper action too!

Sorry if this is "old hat" guys!

If I've said it once, I've said it before. NOT ZOMBIES! Living people infected with a virus. Otherwise, yeah, pretty good VIRUS INFECTED HUMANS movie.

If I was the sergeant in that movie, I would have beat those kids faces in with my M4.
Not only do they reinfect england just to get a picture of mommy. But then! they infect France, which is connected to main land europe...WTF?

Thank you for also taking the initiative to correct people about the misclassification.  I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who gets annoyed when people don't know the difference between zombies and infected people.

Just goes to show that you should follow orders, because as a guy on the ground you may not have the larger picture.

He and the Major tried to do what they thought was the right thing, but in the end their good deed leads to the death of possibly millions.

Of course, they probably would have discovered the mother at some point.  Also we're not 100% sure that the kid spread the infection...we'll have to wait for 28 Months.

Which will consist entirely of former ARFCOMers coming out of their bunkers after 2+ years.

Stupid little brat and his sister. Should have been shot on sight as they were escaping the compound.

The final scene, as the ZOMBIES (I don't care what you classify them as; it's as good a term as any) are running in Paris was both predictable and creepy as all hell....

Good movie. I liked it enough to buy it on DVD.

The snipers should of shot those two little brats as soon as they crossed over the bridge.

I liked it better than the first. Very intense.

The ending was indeed very creepy and left no doubt of a sequel.

I have to say, I want to see what the French will do when the zombies/infected or whatever you want to call them don't accept the Frenchie's inveitable, and likely immediate surrender. What's so wrong about wiping out the French again? It's not like the infected can make it to the US.

The real mistake made was finding a woman in the quarantine zone, and not keeping her quarantined.

Seriously, if a deadly virus/sickness wiped out an entire city, and later on you find one "survivor" do you just let anybody walk in and visit them?

And if I'd had been that hele pilot no way would I try to rescue those two kids. He told his friend to come alone, he should have shot them down on site and left.

One thing that didn't make sense to me was how the 'rage' virus affected the folks, especially in the quarantined building.  If the 'rage' virus just makes you homicidal, why would the infected attack only the uninfected? You'd think they wouldn't differentiate, but just beat up on everyone around them. It was only in the subway scene that you see the father pause, take notice, and approach slowly.

The movie was pretty damn intense.

Fairly disappointed with it, with the reasons mentioned above.  Plot holes like bringing in person from quarantined zone and crossing the bridge.  Your ass would get shot, I doubt it would matter if you were a child or not.

It was alright, could have been better.

Movie serves as a warning; compassion can be a double-edged sword in extreme situations like that. Use sparingly, and wisely.

Be compasionate, but be compasionate on a global scale.

The Major should have radioed to control through the chain of command to inform them of their situtation and allow those with the whole picture of the outbreak to make the call about what should be done.

It's good to be a leader and take initiative, but nobody should so self-important they think that they are in a position to make such a HUGE call as smuggling two people out of an infected zone killing fellow soldiers in the process.

Of course it wouldn't have been much of a movie had everyone followed orders and exercised their chain of command.

Yup.

Frankly, if it were any warzone and I could take them, I would have.

A contamination zone, however, where the contaminant has the ability to kill off an entire population with just one carrier, though? FUCK NO. The kids stay, I'll deal with the guilt.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm nummy.

(As far as the movie (this was about a movie, right?) goes, I just watched for the 2nd time and I liked it better than the 1st. Saving the kids didn't really turn out the way they thought though, did it?)

I doubt the Army would write off hundreds of their own like that...they'd make SOME attempt to decontaminate them and clear them.

Yeah, they wouldn't risk the break down in discipline that could follow if troops were being left for dead.   There would have been some plan included in that for their "Code Red."

As a side note, that chick was seriously HOT.  She was 17 when the film was shot so she has to be what 18 or 19 now...yes, I'm a dirty old man, but come on she was seriously pretty.

Supposedly the sequel will be in Eastern Europe (not Paris as some have speculated).

I felt that it needed to be about 30 minutes longer to make for a more plauseable re-outbreak of the rage virus and give  us  better character development.

It was a good shoot rage victims/zombie movie though with some good scenes and  highly watchable.

The sniper scene was great, but I had to question whether the crowd would have survived all that automatic fire...I mean an M2 spraying a sidewalk area about 50 feet wide?

The little kid was annoying...they should have just stuck with the older daughter...she was a hottie (I can say that now that she is over 18).
