Anyone else think it really sucked ass?
It received a 6/10 on IMDB.

That was a bit gracious.  The gunplay at the end was pretty good but the 2hrs leading up to it felt like 4.

No, i liked it. Not the best but it had its parts like the two headshots in the trailer park.

It was alright. It had the potential to kick ass... it fell kinda flat. I had such high hopes.

I liked it.  I think the reason most people didn't like it is they were expecting either a remake of the original Miami Vice, or an action flick, and got neither.  I've also heard people complain that there wasn't any character development, but I don't think that was what Michael Mann was going for either.  Anyway, I liked it a lot and own it on HD-DVD.

Maybe without Colin Farell it could have fared better.  The acting/partnership between him and Jamie Foxx was weak.  There just wasn't much that made them appear to be credible partners.

I rate it - just ok. A little choppy and too much emphasis on action - which was  pretty lame  at times.

I felt the movie was just a way to suck money out of the fans from the old show. I should of rented it before buying it.

I felt asleep when they were doing the deed...

I would rather to watch "debby does dallas"

I thought it was an okay movie.

For a rental.

That won't be rented again.

But then I just was never able to get into the orginal TV show either.

The love story interlude in the middle was WAY too long.
