I have been watching this film in my sociology class as a part of an assignment for a paper on the middle class and how they got that way. I thought that despite a lot of graphic violence portrayal, it was an excellent movie. After doing a bit of digging on Google about James J. Braddock, I thought that it was a good portrayal of his boxing career and also going through the Great Depression(which is what a LOT of the film centers on.) The movie is also going to be a great basis for this paper. On a scale of troll heads, it gets 5 out of 5 troll heads
