| right after the bank holdup(and before they slam into the bus) when McCouly is in the car trying to get away he shoots at the front windshield, why? |

It was a rental... and they had paid for the full no deductable insurance coverage. I had to add. Having done personal protection details where were had a motorcade... the last thing we were worried agout was broken glass, scratched fenders, vehicle damage if the SHTF. Shooting inside a vehicle is really rough on the ears. I always carried ear plugs in my war bag. Dealing with a long arm in a vehicle is rather obnoxious. Some of the vehicles we trained in had rear door windows that only rolled half way down. We were taught a technique of busting out the glass with the first shot out of the witness protection Remington 870 shotguns. Whatever it take to do the job. |
I think that pretty well says it. He wanted to shoot at the cops in front of them without hanging out the window. quick hijack attempt; Anybody else pay close attention to this scene? Ever wonder which gun DeNiro used to shoot out the windshield? When the camera is shooting in from the right side/passenger side you see an M16. But when the camera is looking in from the left side/driver's side you clearly see the Galil shooting out the windshield. |
