Pretty funny movie. I expected it to be very anti-smoking, but it tried to defend personal freedom more than attack smoking. Makes sense to me, by now, everybody knows smoking is bad for you, so if somoene want to light up, they should be allowed to. It also had some good attacks on Congress and the unethical press. And the Merchant of Death for guns was a hoot. Robert Duvall, the lead, and the actor playing his son all did a great job. |

I've only seen one preview for it, and thought it looked terrific. Aaron Eckhart is the lead, and he's starred in several bombs in a row (Paycheck, Suspect Zero, The Missing) so I doubt his star power is going to do anything for this film, but the script looks hilarious. |
