HELP!!

I have been going crazy trying to get this stinking thing to work. I downloaded Media Center Master and got it to run perfectly. My folders are arranged perfectly, and I have all my information downloaded. I generated the .xml file using MCM and then added the folder back.

At this point I should have cover art, the synopsis, ratings, everything, showing up when I select Movie Library. Instead I have titles and blank boxes. I tried erasing the path from Media Center, shutting it down, then adding it back again. No luck. Still blank boxes.

I have everything downloaded and arranged in a logical fashion. Why is it not displaying the data if it is right there? I am not sure what else to do. Getting rid of WMC is not really an option since I use it to DVR a few programs. Anyone else deal with this mess? I am not giving up, but I will have to back away from it for a bit!

What works best in Windows 7 is to let teh Media Player download the album cover and related content from the internet.

I think it also checks the digital media licenses when it does this.  Without validating the digital media licenses, I don't think it works, ... at all.

I went back through, deleted all of the xml files, and then regenerated them. I had to remove my folder from the WMC directory, shut it down, then reinstall the folder. Aside from a few screwed up artwork images everything looks good.

In case anyone is wondering, I do own these movies, they are digital copies of my discs. For whatever reason WMC does not recognize nor download any of the artwork or metadata. For now the problem seems to be solved.

Later when I finish building my HTPC, I plan on running XBMC. Will I have to fight this battle all over again? Also, is there a better option out there?
