Now in the Red Box. My bros and I had pretty much wrote this off as just another standard Statham style flick so we waited for it as a 1.30 Redboxer. Very wrong! This is a fantastic action movie with good writing/acting/production value. I’m going to go so far as to say that it has some of the best gun-fu I’ve seen in a very long time. There is a lengthy sequence where Statham’s character manipulates several corrupt Cops to help him infiltrate an illegal Chinese casino……very, very well done. Lots of good weapon selections as an extra bonus. Still no grasp just how quickly a SMG will empty its magazine but that’s pretty much a given. It's the kind of movie that makes me want to check out any other work from the director to see if I have missed a good one. If you are of the gender that produces Testosterone in large quantities you should find it worth your money. High violence. Low Profanity, No nudity |
