Has anyone here used a Roku box. I am thinking about it to save money on the satalite bill. Does it work good? which model do you have? what problems have you had?

I have never heard of this.  I just looked at their web site, but i'm still unsure on what this does.  I get you can watch netflix and download things.  But can you watch actual regular TV channels?  Cause i'm thinking about maybe getting one.

It plays streaming video from the Internet. If your favorite TV show has a website (either free or pay) you can watch it on your TV instead of your computer. It does have to be on their list of channels, but that is growing every day.

The only complaint that I have is the fact that the Roku2 came out 2mo after I bought mine! They are awesome.

Dropped Directv 6 months ago.I have 2 Roku XD units tied to a Netflix streaming account, Amazon Prime streaming, and Hulu+.

We went from 85-90$ a month, to around 14$ a month. I use Hulu the least, but it has better options for network tv show content.
