Yeah, I was a big fan of season 1 .. season 2 seems to be starting off a bit slow, though. With the writers and cast, I'm sure it will pick up.

Also the guy that played John Basilone in The Pacific is playing a businessman this season.

There are also many actors from The Wire in Treme. I suspect from David Simon.

That is Jon Seda, he was also in Homicide, which was one of David Simon's works too.
