Saw it with the kids the first weekend. I'm still not sure what I think about it - Is it aimed at children or adults? Some conglomeration of both? Fart jokes and water rights ... Strange. And why bother having Depp? Hardly sounded like him and any voice actor could have done it as well.

I dunno. I wouldn't pay to see it again but I don't regret paying the first time... much.

I saw it with my daughter and she liked it. I thought the story was kind of weak, but the animation was very good especially since it
was done by nickelodeon. I liked the part where the moles are flying on the bats shooting gatling guns while playing Ride of the Valkyries
on banjos. Also Jake the snake was pretty cool. It's worth watching on dvd if you haven't seen it.

Did Slim get trapped in the theater with his phone turned off? It's been 18 hours or so with no report on his impression of the thing.

I saw it with my kids (3 and almost 2) and they liked it. It IS pretty violent for a kids movie but there are laughs. The kids liked the animation/slapstick stuff and my wife and I enjoyed the dialouge.

I saw it with my 8 year old son, we both liked it.

I liked the subtle references, like the Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas reference at the beginning
and the "Spirit of the West"..

I fell into the popcorn machine, it was terrible.

Actually, i really liked this movie, there was some crude humor thrown into it, but there was ALOT of references to other western movies. It was pretty good, but i was wondering if the no water in the bank was in reference to the great depression and there seemed to be a reference to FDR with the mayor being in a wheelchair. I liked how they animated the characters, left them ugly as well, it was the old west, had pixar done this movie the animals would have been way to cute for it to be fitting the movies setting.
