I know there are a shit-ton of geeks on here, so you'll all appreciate this movie. It was the ultimate homage to Sci-fi films. At one point they walk into a roadhouse, and the band is playing "Cantina Band". soooo many references to great movies. Everyone needs to see it.

Haven't been disappointed with that on- screen team yet. Can't see this knocking "Shaun" off the top step but I'll definitely watch it.

This just came out at the theatres, so a few months probably before it comes out on DVD.

I saw it Saturday... It was well worth the matinee price. I enjoyed it. Bateman was great in it.

It was alright. Good enough for the ticket price, but not Shaun of the Dead caliber.

Saw it last night. It was funny, especially if you're a sci-fi nerd and have seen all the sci-fi movies they reference. But it was not as funny as most good comedies and especially not as funny as Shawn of the Dead or Hot Fuzz.

Also, just a heads up if you're very religious - this movie will offend you.

Saw it with my wife and a very religious 85 year old friend and she laughed her ass off at some of the off color anti-religious parts. I apologized to her & she said something along the line of "People get tore up too easily" "Funny is funny!"

It was funny. Non sci-fi people may miss many of the jokes and may not find it as funny. I loved Shawn of the Dead, but Hot Fuzz was kinda bad.

WAY too much gratuitous swearing for one. I do not mind harsh language, but it was pointless, distracting, and forced.

My wife and I must be scifi nerds because we loved it. We laughed our asses off the whole time. I thought it was the best movie this team has put out. It also helps that we are big fans of Seth Rogen

Actually the fact that Seth Rogen does the voice of the alien kinda dampens my enthusiasm to see this movie. Seth Rogen is annoying and overrated to me. But like already mentioned, I've enjoyed the stuff these 2 guys have done before, so I'll probably catch it down the road on DVD.
