What an amazing movie! I can't believe how thin Christian Bale got. I was also amazed at all of the imagery and motifs throughout the film. Anyone else seen this riveting work?

I need to see that again. I can't believe the guy would put himself through what he did to look that way. Can't be healthy but who knows. But yeah, I was flipping the channels and ran across that and was instantly glued.

It was on my Netflix instant queue for a while. Watched it twice to really understand it. Good flick.

One of my favs. You don't ever really hear alot about it, but i recommend it to anyone wanting to watch a good movie.

Its a great movie IMO. I love Christian Bale's films.

He ate an apple and a can of tuna a day for months to cut down that thin.

Good movie.
What's even crazier is that he immediately put 109lbs back on in 6 months for Batman.

I thought Deniro was crazy for gaining 60bs to do part of Raging Bull, but this was on a whole different level.

Bale wanted to lose more weight for the role but the producers stopped him because they feared his health was in danger.
Despite his 'Terminator Salvation' outburst, he is a kickass actor.
