So my tv went tits up. Need a new one, first foray into all this new tech. Looking for 40" or more. I play X-box and watch movies on it as well as cable. Looking to spend between $700-$900, with a little wiggle room if its something fantastic.
I've been reading and have some general knowledge, but nothing impressive. I think I understand the difference between the plasma, lcd, led. I think I want either plasma or led, I'm leaning led because I'm a little worried with lighting for plasma. I'm kinda burned out on all the reading and didn't see quite what I was looking for at the stores. Need some direction. Appreciate any help. |

For the $900.00 range you can get into the mid 50's on Plasma and get a very good one.
My wife finally let me go with the Sammy LED 55" which I got for $1599.00. I have seen some LED's in the $1000.00 range but since I wasn't looking anymore I don't remember which ones or from where? 
You will get more inches for the same money if you go Plasma so that should give you something to think about and help you decide. BigDozer66 |
