Okay SOME of you guys will like this. Wikipedia describes it as a black comedy, not sure that's accurate. Colin Farrel and Brendan Gleeson (you'll recognize him when you see him) are British hitmen sent to Bruges, Belgium after Farrel accidentally shoots a child during his first assassination. Little slow in the beginning, there are some clever parts but also it'll be a bit too much of the "Bruges Chamber of Commerce Presents Our Pretty Little Town" for some of you guys. The last third moves along and has action that is scripted well with fights that are thought out more than a bunch of guys pulling subguns and blasting away all over the place. When people are shot they tend to gurgle and flop over, not do back flips or any silly stuff. Crap, can't get the "spoiler" thing to work   |
