Yea, I know another alien movie. It kinda has a District 9 look to it. Supposed to be out in Oct 2010.
I'll watch it when it hits netflix. IMDb

It doesn't look like it's going to have the shitty camera work of a home video or a documentary... which means I'll probably see it.

A new trailer out. Looks pretty good.

Looks like some cthulhu type thing. In that HD trailer you can see the general shape outlined when the lightning flashes as the guy is looking over the top of a building. Then there is another split second flash of a tentacle looking thing swinging through a doorway at the chick.

This movie was a pile of shit. You only see the monsters about twice and it was dark and shakey. It was more a movie about these 2 assholes walking around than it was about monsters. In fact they should have named it "2 Assholes Walking Around".

Too bad. You can't always trust the trailers. Do you think it is worth watching on netflix or just pass?

I haven't seen it but it is likely to be some half-baked allegory of illegal immigration, "After six years, they're not aliens, they're residents."

I saw it advertised on Comcast for ten dollars and I gave it a try after seeing the trailer. What a fucking let down. The potential is there but they failed to deliver.

I watched it last weekend.  Kind of a crappy movie.  The "monsters" are we-todd-ed.  It was a bit boring at times too.

If you have a PS3, you can watch it for $9.99 right now.

That sucks.... I had high hopes for this one.... oh well. I'll see if there's a torrent for it.

It was on for free on HDNET movies tonight.

It wasn't good. Had a few interesting parts.... but a strong "illegal alien's are beautiful" flair to it....

I would be PISSED if I paid money to go see it.

IMDB has some trivia about it - saying the production budget was $15,000. I dont think thats possible..... but I guess it doesn't take much to film two assholes walking around.

Summed it up well.

The giant wall between zones made me wish aliens would land in Mexico.

It was an okay movie, I liked the backdrop of the story, but the ending sucked. Movie in general could have used more monsters and more fighting.

I was wondering where they filmed the ending part, it obviously looks somewhat like the Padre Island coast.

When I read, this I am I did not belive it, I had to look it up on IMDB for myself.  In my professional  opion there is NO WAY, NO WAY that movie only costed $15,000.
