have a 1 1/2 year old panasonc flatscreen. When watching tv or movies that have no darkness  (only day scenes) it looks ok. When any scene had a dark area to it (night, just low light, shadows etc), these areas are a pixelated red color which you cant really see through. Kind of a red shadow, can take up most of the screen and basically makes the tv unwatchable for some shows/movies. . Color adjusting doesn't help. Any ideas on what needs to be fixed or cost?

Google you model # for problems.


LCD usually have a backlight bulb that dims over the life and then burns out.  Check your owners manual.

was actually a magnavox, I guess not much better.  The red is mainly where black should be.

Did you just randomly make changes or did you use a proper calibration disc like Avia or Video Essentials?
