Ill attempt to make this as clear and short as possible.

We live in a home which has an addition. This addition serves as a second living room and it has no attic/crawl space. The house and addition are wired for the antenna. When we bought the house, we had SAT installed into the addition, but not the rest of the house.

Good so far? We have been in the process of renovating the house, so we didnt even have the origional living room set up till last night. im trying to figure out how to get the SAT into the main part of the house without having a ghetto fab mess of wires on the outside of my house.

Are the wireless transmitter/receivers any good? They would have to go through 2 exterior (brick) walls and a straight line distance of approx 50' or so.

Expect any wireless solution to wreak havoc on any wireless internet you might have.  It might not, but IMO it's likely that it will.

I don't have any direct experience with wireless AV, because I've always found a way to get a wire from point A to point B.

Is using the attic and/or basement/crawlspace out of the question?

Run teh wires in a surface mount wire raceway.  They are not great-looking, but there are ways to install them more discreetly than you'd imagine.

Why can't you cut into the drywall/plaster and recess the coax cable and patch over it.  I just did something similar to a stucco wall and (with the proper technique) you cannot even see the patched area.  <–– it actually surprised me how well I did.

Can you run the coax under a carpet?

Can you route the coax behind the baseboard?  If no baseboard, then how about at the very base of the wall where it intersects the flooring?  If it's carpeted, the pile will cover the wire and you'll never even see it.

There are ways to route visible wires that work well.

Update:

This wont help anyone who is looking for info on the transmitters.
I decided to go the hard-wire route and am very pleased with how I did things which included:

-Moving the sat to the main part of the house right next to the antenna. This centralized where both incoming signals enter the house and cleans up ALOT of unsightly exterior wiring. Both lines drop into the front living room from the attic and are run down behind drywall. A splitter for each is installed in the attic to also take the signal to the addition. I must also add that a Sat Finder is the best $40 youll ever spend if you move your dish yourself. Peaked and tuned in no time!

-Re-ran all coax through attic. By doing this I no longer have cables going through holes in the brick. Again, cleaned up alot of unsightly wiring. ( I hate being in the attic however!!! )

-Since we are going to take out the wood paneling in the addition and replace it with drywall, i found a place where I could run the wiring from the main attic into the addition at the ceiling. Wire will be run behind the wall and terminated at dual coax outlets just like it should be.
