| A person should consider us in this way; as servants of Christ and managers of God's mysteries. In this regard, it is expected of managers that each one be found faithful. It is of little importance that I should be evaluated by you or by a human court. In fact I don't even evaluate myself. For I am not conscious of anything against myself, but I am not justified by this. The one who evaluates me is the Lord. Therefore don't judge anything prematurely, before the Lord comes, who will both bring to light what is hidden in the darkness and reveal the intentions of the hearts. And then praise will come to each one from God. 1st Corinthians 4/ 1-5. 6-19-09 |
|
No one should deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks he is wise in this age, he must become foolish so that he can become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God, since it is written: HE CATCHES THE WISE IN THEIR CRAFTINESS–––––– and again, THE LORD KNOWS THE REASONINGS OF THE WISE, THAT THEY ARE FUTILE.
So no one should boast in men, for all things are yours: whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world of life or death or things present or things to come––––all are yours, and you belong to Christ, and Christ to God. 1st Corinthians 3/18-23. 6-20-09 |
|
Do you not know that the runners in a stadium all race, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win. Now everyone who competes exercises self-control in everything. However, they do it to receive a perishable crown, but we an imperishable one. Therefore I do not run like one who runs aimlessly, or box like one who beats the air. Instead, I disipline my body and bring it under strict control, so that after preaching to others, I myself will not be disqualified
1st Corinthians 9/24-27, 6-21-09. |
| For we know that if our earthly house, a tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. And in fact, we groan in this one, longing to put on our house in heaven, since, when we are clothed, we will not be found naked. Indeed, we who are in this tent groan, burdened as we are, because we do not want to be unclothed but clothed, so that mortality may be swallowed up by life. And the One who prepaired us for this very thing is God, who gave us the Spirit as a down payment. 2nd Corinthians 5/1-5, 6/22-09 |
|
Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not give up. Instead, we have renounced shameful secret things, not walking in deceit or distorting God's message, but in God's sight we commend ourselves to every person's conscience by a open display of the truth. But if, in fact, our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. Regarding them: the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the Glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For we are not proclaiming ourselves but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your slaves because of Jesus. For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness––––-He has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of God's glory in the face of Jesus Christ. 2nd Corinthians 4/1-6, 6-23-09

| Now you were dead in your trespasses and sins in which you previously walked according to this worldly age, according to the ruler of the atmosperic domain, the spirit now working in the disobediant. We too all perviously lived among them in our fleshly desires, carrying out the inclinations of our flesh and thoughts, and by nature we were childeren under wrath, as the others were also. But God, who is abundant in mercy, because of His great love that He had for us, made us alive with the Messiah even though we were dead in tresspasses. By grace you are saved! Ephesians 2/1-5, 6-24-09 |
| The one who says he is in the light but hates his brother is in the darkness untill now. The one who loves his brother remains in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. But the one who is in the darkness, walks in the darkness, and doesn't know were he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes. 1st John 2/9-11,6-25-09 |
| This is how we are sure that we have come to know Him: by keeping His commands. The one who says, "I have come to know Him", without keeping His commands, is a liar and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly in Him the love of God is perfected. This is how we know we are in Him: the one who says he remains in Him should walk just as He walked. 1st John/2/3-6, 6-26-09 |
| What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He did not even spare His Own Son, but offered Him up for us all; how will He not also with Him grant us everything? Who can bring accusation against God's elect? God is the one who justifies. Who is the one who condenms? Jesus Christ is the One who died, but even more has been raised; He also is at the right hand of God and intercedes for us. Who can seperate us from the love of Christ? Romans 8/31-35/6-28-09 |
|
Now if Christ is preached as being raised from the dead, how can some of you say,'' There is no resurrection of the dead''? But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised; and if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is without foundation, and so is your faith.
In addition we are found to be false witnesses about God, because we have testified about God that He raised up Christ––––who He did not raise up if in fact the dead are not raised. For if the dead are not raised, Christ has not been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins. Therefore those who have fallen asleep in Christ have also perished. If we have placed our hope in Christ for this life only, we should be pitied more than anyone 1st Corinthians / 15 / 12-19 / 6-29-09. |
|
We must therefore pay even more attention to what we have heard, so that we will not drift away. For if the message spoken through angels was legally binding, and every transgression and disobediance recieved a just punishment, how will we escape if we neglect such a great salvatiom? It was first spoken by the Lord and was confiirmed to us by those who heard Him.
At the same time, God also testified by signs and wonders, various miracles, and distributions of gifts from the Holy Spirit according to His will. Hebrews /2/1-4/ 6-30-09 |
|
Brothers I tell you this: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, and corruption cannot inherit incorruption. Listen! I am telling you a mystery:
We will not all fall asleep, in a moment we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed. Because this corruptible must be clothed with incorruptibility, and the mortal must be clothed with immortality. Now when this corrutible is clothed with incorruptibility, and this mortal is clothed with immortality, then the saying that is written will take place: DEATH HAS BEEN SWALLOWED UP IN VICTORY. O' DEATH WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O' DEATH WHERE IS YOUR STING? Now the sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be unto God, who gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! Therefore, my dear brothers be steadfast, immovable, always exelling in the Lord's work, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1st Corinthians /15 / 50-58 / 7-1-09 |
|
Now there are different gifts, but the same Spirit. there are different ministries, but the same Lord. And there are different activities, but the same God is active in everyone and everything. A manifestation of the Spirit is given to each person to produce what is beneficial: to one is given a message of wisdom through the Spirit, to another a message of knowledge through the Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another, gifts of healing by the one Spirit, to another, the performing of miracles, to another, prophecy, to another, distinguishing between spirits, to another different kinds of languages, to another interpetation of languages.
But the one and the same Spirit is active in all these, distributing to each one as He wills. 1st Corinthians/12/4-11/7-2-09 |
|
We have this kind of confidence toward God through Christ: not that we are competent in ourselves to consider anything as comming from ourselves, but our competence is from God. He has made us competent to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit produces life.
2nd Corinthians/3/4-6/ 7-3-09 |
|
Now brothers, I want to clarify for you the gospel I proclaimed to you; you recieved it and have taken your stand on it. You are also saved by it, if you hold to the message I proclaimed to you––––––-unless you believed to no purpose. For I passed on to you as most important what I also recieved: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.
Then He appeared to over five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom remain at the present, but some have fallen asleep. Then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles. Last of all, as to one abnormally born, He also appeared to me. 1st Corinthians/15/ 1-8/ 7-4-09 |
|
Therefore having such a hope, we use great boldness––––––––not like Moses, who used to put a veil over his face so that the sons of Israel could not look at the end of what was fading away. But their minds were closed. For to this day at the reading of the old covenant, the same veil remains; it is not lifted, because it is set aside only in Christ.
However, to this day, whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their hearts, but whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. We all, with unveiled faces, are reflecting the glory of the Lord and are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory; this is from the Lord who is the Spirit. 2nd Corinthians/3/12-17/7-5-09 |
|
Let none deceive you with empty aurguments, for because of these things God's wrath is comming on the disobediant. Therefore do not become their partners. For you where once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light––––––-for the fruit of the light results in all goodness, righteousness, and truth––––––-discerning what is pleasing to the Lord.
Ephesians 5/6-10/ 7-5-09 |
|
The one who is taught the message must share his goods with the teacher. Dont be decieved: God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows to he will reap, because the one who sows to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.
So we must not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don't give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, we must work for the good of all, especially for those who belong to the household of faith. Galatians/6/6-10/ 7-6-09 |
|
Now since the children have flesh and blood in common, He also shared in these, so that through His death He might destrot the one holding the power of death––––––-that is, the Devil––––––-and free those who were held in slavery all their lives by the fear of death.
For it is clear that He does not reach out to help angels, but to help Abraham's offspring. Therefore He had to be like His brothers in every way, so that He could become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. For since He Himself was tested and has suffered, He is also able to help those who are tested. Hebrews/2/14-18/7-7-09 |
|
Who is wise and understanding among you? He should show his works by good conduct with wisdom's gentleness. But if you have bitter envy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't brag and lie in defiance of the truth. Such wisdom does not come down from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic.
For where envy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every kind of evil. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, without favoritism and hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. James/3/13-18/ 7-8-09 |
|
He made you alive with Him and forgave us all trespasses. He erased our certificate of debt, with it's obligations, that was against us and opposed to us, and has taken it out of the way by nailing it to the cross. He disarmed the rulers and authorities and disgraced them publicly. He triumphed over them by Him.
Colossians/2/ 13-15/ 7-9-09 |
|
But the Day of the Lord will come like a thief; on that day, the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, the elements will burn and be dissolved, and the earth and the works on it will be disclosed.
Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, it is clear what sort of people you should be in holy conduct and godliness as you wait for and earnestly desire the comming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be on fire and be dissolved, and the elements will melt with heat. But based on His promise, we wait for new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness will dwell. 2nd Peter/3/10-13/ 7-10-09 |
|
Be sober! Be on the alert! Your adversary the Devil is prowling around like a roaring lion looking for anyone he can devour. Resist him, firm in faith, knowing that the same sufferings are being experianced by your brothers in the world.
Now the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will personally restore, establish, strengthen and support you after you have suffered a little. To Him be dominion forever, Amen. 1st Peter/5/ 8-11/ 7-11-09 |

Now faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen. For by it our ancestors were approved. By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen has been made from things that are not visible

.................and
1 Corinthians 2:9 "However, as it is written; No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him" (How could a person not want to be included in that!) Colossians 2:13-19 "When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with it regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you for the prize. Such a person goes into great detail about what he has seen, and his unspiritual mind puffs him up with idle notions. He has lost connection with the Head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow" (Freedom from human regulations/traditions as a qualification/means/requirement of salvation........learn from Jesus words what is expected of you. And, yes, the best way to do that is STUDY THE BIBLE YOURSELF, don't wait on people to "tell" you what the bible says about this or that.) 1 Thessalonians 5:1-5 "Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, Peace and Safety, destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness" (We can be aware of the "season" of the Lords return by reading scripture and understanding the signs we are given, but the specific year, month, day, hour, minute, second.......No) |

For this Melchizedek––––––-King of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham and blessed him as he returned from defeating the kings, and Abraham gave him a tenth of everything; first, his name means '' King of righteousness,'' then also,'' King of Salem,'' meaning '' King of peace''; without father, mother, or geneology, having neither biginning of days nor end of life,
but resembling the Son of God––––––––remains a priest forever. Hebrews 7/1-3/7-14-09 |
|
For when God made a promise to Abraham, since He had no one greater to swear by, He swore by Himself: I will most certainly bless you, and I will greatly multiply you. And so, after waiting patiently, Abraham obtained the promise. For men swear by something greater than themselves, and for them a confirming oath ends every dispute.
Because God wanted to show His unchangable purpose even more clearly to the heirs of the promise, He guaranteed it with an oath. so that through to unchangable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to seize the hope set before us. We have this hope––––––-like a sure and firm anchor of the soul––––––-that enters the sanctuary behind the curtain. Jesus has entered there on our behalf as a forerunner, because He has become a '' high priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.'' Hebrews /6/13-20/7-14-09 |
|
Now the main point of what is being said is this: we have this kind of high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of Majesty in the heavens, a minister of the sanctuary and the true tabernacle, which the Lord set up, and not man. For every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices; therefore it was necessary for this priest also to have something to offer.
Now if He were on earth, He wouldn't be a priest, since there are those offering gifts perscribed by the law. these serve as a copy and a shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was warned when he was about to complete the tabernacle. For He said, Be careful that you make everything according to the pattern that was shown to you on the mountain. But Jesus has now obtained a superior ministry, and to that degree He is the mediator of a better covenant, which has been legally enacted on better promises. Hebrews /8/1-6/ 7-15-09 |
|
For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, so you won't grow weary and lose heart. In struggling against sin, you have not yet resisted of shedding your blood. And you have forgotten the exortation that addresses you as sons: My son, do not take the Lord's discipline lightly, or faint when you are reproved by Him; for the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and punishes every son whom He receives.
Endure it as discipline: God is dealing with you as sons. For what son is there whom a father does not discipline? But if you are without discipline––––––––which all receive––––––––then you are illegitimate children and not sons. Furthermore, we had natural fathers discipline us, and we should respect them. Shouldn't we submit even more to the Father of spirits and live? Hebrews/11/3-9/ 7-16-09 |

Faith Triumphs
Therefore, since we have been decllared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Also through Him, we have obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only that, but we also rejoice in our afflictions, because we know that affliction produces endurance, 4 endurance produces proven character, and proven character produces hope. 5 This hope does not disappoint, because God's love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Romans 5:1 - 5 How simple God's plan of grace. FAITH IS THE VICTORY 7-17-09 |
|
Now I want you to know, brother, that our fathers were all under the cloud, all passed through the sea, and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea. They all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the spiritual drink. For they drank from a spiriual rock that followed them, and that rock was Christ.
But God was not pleased with most of them, for they were struck down in the desert. 1st Corinthians/10/1-5/ 7-18-09 |
|
Consider it a great joy, my brothers, whenever you experiance various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. But endurance must do it's complete work, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.
Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without criticizing, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith not doubting. For the doubter is like the surging sea, driven and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. An indecisive man is unstable in all his ways. James/1/2-7/ 7-19-09 |
|
I will dwell among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people. Therefore come out from among them and be seperate, says the LORD; do not touch any unclean thing, and I will welcome you.
I will be a father to you. and you will be sons and daughters to Me, says the Lord Almighty.2nd Corinthians/16-18/ 7-20-09 |

1 In the beginning was the Word, and Word was with God, and Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 All things were created through Him, and apart from Him not one thing was created that has been created. 4 Life was in Him, and that life was the light of men. 5 That light shines in the darkness, yet the darkness did not overcome it. John 1: 1 - 5 |

But we must always thank God for you brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God has chosen youfor salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and through belief in the truth. He called you to thos through our gospel, so that you might obtain the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, brothers, stand firm and hold to the traditions you were taught, either by our message or by our letter. 2nd Thessalonians/2/13-15/ 7-24-09 |
|
In this, love is perfected with us so that we might have confidence in the day of judgement; for we are as He is in this world. There is no fear in love; instead, perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment. So the one who fears has not reached perfection in love.
We love because He first loved us. 1st John/4/17-19/ 7-25-09 |
|
Do not owe anyone anything, exept to love one another. for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.
The commandments: Do not commit adultry, do not murder, do not steal, do not covet, and if there is any other commandment––––-all are summed up by this; Love your neighbor as yourself. Romans/13/8-9/ 7-26-09 |
|
Then I heard a loud voice in
heaven say: The salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Messiah have now come, because the accuser of our brothers has been thrown out: the one who accuses them before our God day and night, They conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testamony, for they did not love their lives in the face of death. Therefore rejoyce O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the earth and sea, for the Devil has come down to you with great fury, because he has a short time. Revelation/12/10-12/ 7-27-09 |
|
Now the Spirit explicitly says that in the latter times some will depart from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and the teachings of demons, through the hipocrisy of liars whose consciences are seared.
They forbid marrige and demand abstinence from foods that God created to be received with gratitude by those who believe and know the truth. For everything created by God is good, and nothing should be rejected if it is recieved with thanksgiving, since it is sanctified by the word of God and by prayer. 1st Timothy/4/1-5/ 7-28-09 |
|
For although I am free from all people, I have made myself a slave to all, in order to win more people. To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win Jews; to those under the law, like one under the law––––-though I myself am not under the law. To those who are outside the law, like onr outside the law––––-not being outside God's law, but under the law of Christ––––––-to win those outside the law.
To the weak I became weak, in order to win the weak. I have become all things to all people, so that I by all means save some. Now I do all this because of the gospel, that I may become a partner in it's benifits. 1st Corinthians/9/19-23/ 7-30-09 |

Now to Him who is able to protect you from stumbling and to make you stand in the presence of His glory, blameless and with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, power and authority before all time, now and forever,
Amen Jude/1/24-25/ 7-31-09 |

For circumcision benifits you if observe the law, but if you are a law breaker, your circumcision has become uncircumcision. Therefore if a uncircumcised man keeps the laws requirements, will his uncircumcision not be counted as circumcision? A man who is physically uncircumcised, but who fulfills the law, will judge you who are a lawbreaker in spite of having the letter of the law and circumcision. For a person is not a Jew who is one outwardly, and true circumcision is not something visible in the flesh.
On the contrary, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is of the heart––––-by the Spirit, not the letter. His praise is not from men but from God. Romans/2/25-28/ 8-1-09 |
|
Now the end of all things is near: therefore, be clear-headed and disciplined for prayer. above all, keep your love for one another at full strength, since love covers a multitude of sins. Be hospitable to one another without complaining.
Based on the gift they have recieved, everyone should use it to serve others, as good managers of the varied grace of God. If anyone speaks, his speech should be like the oracles of God: if anyone serves, his service should be from the strength God provides, so that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To Him belong the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen 1st Peter/4/7-11/ 8-03-09 |

Let no one deceive you with empty arguments, for because of these things God's wrath is coming on the disobediant. Therefore do not become their partners. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light––––-for the fruit of light results in all goodness, righteousness and truth––––-discerning what is pleasing to the Lord.
Don't participate in the fruitless works of darkness, but instead, expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what is done by them in secret. Everything exposed by the light is made clear, for what makes everything clear is light Therefore it is said: Get up sleeper, and rise up from the dead, and the Messiah will shine on you. Ephesians/4/6-14/ 8-04-09 |

Let your graciousness be known to everyone. The Lord is near. Don't worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable––––-if there is any moral exellance and if there is any praise––––dwell on these things. Philippians/4/5-8/ 8-05-09 |

We are Jews by birth and not ''Gentile Sinners''; yet we know that no one is justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ. And we have believed in Jesus Christ, so we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no human being will be justified.
But if, while seeking to be justified by Christ, we ourselves are also found to be sinners, is Christ then a promoter of sin? Absolutely not! If I rebuild those that I tore down, I show myself to be a lawbreaker. For through the law I have died by the law, that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ; and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing. Galatians/2/15-21/ 8-6-09 |
