My wife and I recently joined an incredible church and had the opportunity to lead the music for their youth retreat this past weekend. We had 8 services over a three day period and the Saturday night service was absolutely incredible. The Holy Spirit took control of the service and it was awesome seeing 19 youth broken before an Almighty God. Cliques were torn down, relationships were healed and 2 of the youth were saved.
The church's youth leader resigned just before the youth retreat and the church is currently looking for a youth leader. Going into this retreat, I didn't even know any of the youth, but I can honestly say now that I would fight for any one of them. God has put a burden on my heart for them like nothing I've ever experienced. I'm not sure that He wants my wife and I to take this position or not, but we are actively seeking His will and will follow where He leads. Please keep my wife and I in your prayers as we attempt to follow God's desire for our lives. |

Without a doubt, some of the finest moments of our lives involve helping those who truly need it, whether it is in a religious context or not. Best of luck to you, and believe !me, when you get the calling, you will know it!
Savor this moment; write it down and save it. This moment will be an inspiration to you in the future, when things look dark. |

Prayers are with you and yours.
My wife is currently a seminary student. While the decision seemed simple, it was full of huge sacrifices and compromise. I promise it will be a wonderful experience and at the same time try your faith like nothing ever has. Remember you are a team and live the experience through each other. |
| Walk it out one step at a time. Allow Holy Spirit to led you and direct you. Don't strive to do it, don't pray in your understanding and allow Holy Spirit to work. If is is Yahweh's will you will know it. What he wants you to do, you will know. Yield yourself and keep your hands out of trying to make it happen, let Holy Spirit work it out. So happy to hear your report and my Prayers are with you. |
