For all of you that believe in the power of prayer, I'd like to ask you to pray for my cousin Zach.

They just found out today that he's got Hodgkins disease.

He's 24 years old and is the most mild, gentle, passive young man that I know.  He is a good boy and certainly does not deserve this.

The scary part is there were no symtems other than a small bump under his arm that came up two weeks ago.  When he finally went to have it checked out, it was too late.

They performed a surgery on him today to cut out what they could.  Unfortunately, it had already spread into his chest cavity and in his lungs.  They couldn't get it all and they don't know yet if it's treatable or not.

He's home with his mom now, on high powered pain killers.

Please say a prayer for him if you would.

Also remember to cherish the time you spend with your family, you never know when something like this may come up.

Something like this sure makes all the petty problems I've been complaining about lately seem pretty selfish.  From now on my veiw is as long as we've got our health, we've got it made.

Thanks

From the bottom of my heart I want to again thank everyone for their prayers on behalf of my cousin Zach.

It looks like we'll find out Tuesday if there is any treatment available, everyone is hoping for good news.

If you would indulge me for a moment I want to tell you how special my cousin is.

He has gone to church at least twice a week for the last 10 years.  He still lives with his mom and as far as I know has never done anything to anyone.  There are 9 of us cousins on this side of the family.  Out of all of them, myself included, Zach is the most innocent and least deserving of this.  His mom, my aunt, is single and has no one to comfort her as she watches her son dieing before her.

This is by far, the sadest I've ever been in my life.  I just can't wrap my mind around the fact that he's probably not going to make it.  I just can't help but feel pretty guilty about all of the wrong I've done, along with all of the experiences I've enjoyed and knowing that my cousin who has done none of this is the one suffering.  To be honest I've never seen such a tradgedy before.

Again I want to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers.  I know the Good Lord is listening and can indeed perform miracles.  I sure hope and pray that he takes care of his loyal follower Zach.

May God be with each of you and your family.

Thanks again.

Don't look backwards-look forwards and make the most of every moment you'll have with him in his time of need.May the Lord touch all of your family in this hour of need.
