After reading John Hagee's book "Jerusalem Countdown", I feel now, more than ever, a great responsibility to somehow bless Israel. Afteral, we are commanded to because we (Gentiles) are only grafted into the olive tree (Israel) and they are the apple of His eye and His chosen people.

How would a Christian bless Israel and it's people without being patronizing or insulting?

I didn't quote Bible because most of you who have answers to this post already know which verses I'm referring to.

This is a worthy cause if this is what you had in mind.

"How would a Christian bless Israel and it's people without being patronizing or insulting?"

The answer is in the same way a Jew would bless a Christian for being the same goodly person we all wish to be, regardless of faith.

Each of us, regardless of religious affiliation, should be able to find in our heart a blessing to another who bears a kind eye and a good heart to their fellows.

B'Shalom,

Ed
