My chick went in for a pre natal last week.  She has survived cancer and has been pronounced cancer free.  Doc called her this afternoon and told her to have her butt in their when they opened tommorrow to talk about her results.  That's all he'd say, and she's had him as a Doc for years, he was the doc she had when she had cancer.  She told me the tone of voice scared her to death and both of us are freaking out.  I'm 775 miles away from her right now due to work.  Please pray for her and the baby.

She is perfectly ok

Did she receive a diagnosis of trisomy 18, or just screening that indicates an increased risk for it?  There is a big difference.
Either way, you definitely have my prayers.  There are support groups for parents with babies who have trisomy18.  It might help to look them up.

She has the amnio tuesday.  Right now it's technically "probable"  But she has several other characteristics that point towards her having it.  4 miscarriages, 2 of them late term, 3 of them were girls, other unknown.  Only successful pregnancy was a boy.  About 9 out 10 trisomy 18 babies are girls and never even make it to birth.  Past history, plus probable positive tests equal having it.  If it was just the test I wouldn't sweat it.  The past history speaks volumes though.
