She requested some information from AFA (American Family Ass.) and they have a nice 10-day package with Tim Wildmon for about $2200. Anybody ever take a trip to the Holy Land? Who'd you go with? Don't we have some ARFCOM members that live in Israel? |

My pastor did a few years ago. Actually, come to think of it, it might have been a whole church group that went. They all really enjoyed it. Don't remember any complaints about feeling insecure or anything. Of course, this was pre-911 by a few years. I'm sure it's worse now. |

I was there in the Summer of 1980 for six weeks with 47 other kids. I went as part of a Jewish Federation of youth and it was awseome. An experience that truely touched me, even being my senior year of highshcool. We camped in the Sinia for a week, lived on a Kibbutz for two, even went snorkeling in the Bay of Eilat. Very Coool  The Dead Sea is good for about 5 minutes and I was done... If I could figure out how to post pictures....The entire tour climed the Masada in the morning as the sun rose over the desert, As kids we didn't want to use the lift... My wife has family in Jerusalem but and has been there a couple of times but she is terrified to go back...
