When you state,"posit" you mean create right?

And if you are, assuming that planet earth is the only place that we know now to possess intellegent life, then outside of this planet and humanity what makes you think that the creative process in the cosmos now, has ever been moral as you put it or otherwise?

Moral for what cause?

For the cause of a man?

For a debate in which no one I or probably any body else can address with any real accuracy or understanding?

What does the Bible Old Testament and New have to say about the universe, beginings or anything else pertaining to the way that things are now (take note here)?

There is no good, or bad, in any universe unless there is one who truly understands it well enough to be able to totally manipulate it in and throughout the virtual eternal process.

Moral-n.1,the lesson taught by a fable, story or event;2 morals, standards of conduct;also conduct;behavior:-----adj.1,referring to right and wrong;ethical;as,moral standards;a moral sense;2, virtuous;good;as a moral way of living;a moral people;3,able to distiguish right and wrong;as,man is a moral being. moral certainty,a probability so strong as to amount to certainty;moral victory,a defeat felt to be a victory because of the spiritual satisfactions, hopes,or gains.

Thanks,

SAE

No, absent of an objective moral standard.

Yes, from a naturalistic point of view....how exactly did we end up with a universe containing moral agents, ie humans?  Why does humanity grapple with normatives if the universe is amoral in its origin?

You see all around you folks talking about "oughts" from one side of their mouth, while simultaneoulsly denying a moral first cause on the other.

How do they live with such incoherence?

Not meaning by any means to be dense here, but maybe because they are supposed to?

And if this is a truth, maybe even a moral one, then why would this be or not to be?

Thanks,
