I am asking this in the Religion forum to avoid the antics of GD. Mods if you feel this isn't the right place then I apologize and please delete. This is a some what silly question, but one I have been curious about.... Those of the Jewish faith that wear a yamaka (sp) how do they keep them in place on their head? |

I wondered the same thing when I was a child ,I think they have hair pins in them. I gathered this from seeing them on t.v. so I wouldn't bank on it ,but hair pins or combs is what I would guess. But what ever it is I'm sure trying to keep the law is 100% harder than trying to keep a yamaka on your head.
But I would be shocked if there's a yamaka wearing Jewish person on the AR15 Religion forum, I was never around a Jewish person when I was a child ,and had this question came to mind... Now that I'm grown I don't think I would ask ,but that's me. |
They're also called a kippah and they break in. (Which apparently is good news if you're bald as I am.
)
