Yup. Same for me.

2004 Duramax LLY CCSB

I'm putting roughly 390hp at the crank too.

I modified the stock airbox, added a K&N air filter, cut the kitty and muffler off, unplugged the EGR, and have a Superchips Cortex programmer set either on Tow(usually into the 19mpgs) or Sport/Tow(18-19mpg).

This all while I'm rolling on 285/75R16's.

I love Diesel

I wish! I probably should have bought that instead. I've already had a DiabloSport and now the Cortex. I could have spent that money on EFILive and been happy.

That'd be about the only thing that could do that.

Which is why we should be pursuing diesel tech instead of stupid gas/hybrid crap.

Diesel is the shit. I hear VW is working on a diesel hybrid. My Jetta TDI gets 55 mpg. If they can somehow get a hybrid working well with an engine like that, I bet it would be very popular with at least a portion of  the hybrid nutzos.

VW Golf 70 mpg diesel hybrid

I don't think they are, actually.
I just paced an Evo and STi down the interstate, and they kept braking for the turns. On the interstate.
They'd push it up on the straights, but they were scared as hell about cutting that wheel.

A Duramax should not be able to easily pace those cars.

My STI (4 cylinder) gets 17 city and 23 highway.  Interestingly, the current Mustang GT (8 cylinder) gets slightly better mileage.  Go figure

Your Duramax shouldn't be able too...

Low-performance drivers, not low performance cars.

Trust me on this.

Oh, and a Lancer OZ Rally has exactly zero parts commonality with an Evo.
