| Hey Yall I havent been on XJ forums lately so I thought I would ask here–– I run BFG A/T 30X9.5 tires on my 01 XJ and want to put on some soft 8's. What size would be best? The Jeep does see a lot of mild to moderate trails and until I can do more mods I'd at least like some new wheels. Thanks |

You should be aware that the soft 8 is an EXTREMELY heavy wheel for it's size. Prepare fro a major downgrade in acceleration and MPG if you're running stock wheels now.
Me personally I like Jeeps with factory wheels but lifted and running larger tires, Everyone has soft 8's or some knockoff. As to size I wouldn't go wider than an 8" wheel on your rig unless you're planning on running HUGE tires |
