Is 6-12 months old gasoline bad for the car in any way?

No Our gas in Bush Alaska sits for a year or more in all kinds of storage containers.
Just put some good cleaner in the tank.

no, but I wouldnt fill a tank with just that gas. Id mix it in with some newer fresher stuff or add some STaBil to it, even now.
