2005 Acura-do a lot of just sitting with it running while at work.  I keep my laptop, mini-fridge, Sirius, and flashlight plugged in so it drains it. Looking at Interstate but anyone have any suggestions on any other brand?

Just replace the bloody battery.  Go to Napa, Checkers, shucks, kragen, or Auto Zone and buy a basic battery.  It will serve you well and won't cost too awful much.

Good Lord, I get edgy about this shit when I am drunk.

Optima or a deep cycle marine type

Non drunk, non angry reply.  Sorry for earlier.

I would go for the Optima, read up on the yellow vs red tops, or a quality battery like interstate.  The idea is to not let it get drained.  Typical car batteries are good for high amperage short draw time, where deep cycles are for lower amps over a long time.  The design of the metal plates in the typical car batteries will sulfate if discharged below 90% capacity.  Sulfation will probably kill the battery if severe enough.  Deep cycle will not be harmed nearly as much as a car battery if discharged completely.  The downside to running a deep cycle is that in very hot or cold weather you are going to lose starting power.

Bottom line, you need to keep your car running if there is all that stuff plugged in.  If you are still draining the battery, you need a larger alternator installed.
