| What do you guys use to get water spots off windows and mirrors. |
|
You can try a diluted mixture of water and white vinegar. Start with a a weaker solution and then keep making it stronger to see if that works.
Carpro makes a product called 'Spotless' that works pretty well. Other than that you'll have to use a polish. Polishes for paint will work but you can also get a dedicated glass polish as well. They also make special pads specifically for glass that are made of rayon. You can do it by hand but if you have access to a dual action polisher it will make it way easier on your arms and shoulders. |

If it truly is water spots any glass cleaner will do. HOwever........... based on it sounding like you "can't get it off" it's more than likely acid rain burns especially if the car is from the northeast. Meguiars makes a spot remover for paint and glass that I've had great results with. |
