Great shape inside and out w/very little rust.
Very well taken care of.

What should I expect from it?  What should I do to it?

Timing chain rattle that will cause engine failure eventually if not repaired.  Engine needs to be removed to replace rear chain.   The Transmission is likely to have issues as well.

Transmission already rebuilt.

Timing chain problem already fixed.

I went ahead with purchase.

Anything else to look for or do to it?

The two big issues have already been taken care of.
My wife has a '98 with over 268K miles on it, and those were the only major issues the vehicle has had.
If it was maintained properly, it's a dependable vehicle.
The original radio is a turd, and I had to fix the heater blend door, but apart from regular maintenance, it's been pretty boring.

Were the servo bores sleeved on the transmission rebuild? If not, you will be back in the same boat soon.

Otherwise, you may be OK.

Mine has 257,000 miles.  Transmission was done at 140,000.  Timing chains are original, but I am about to pull the engine and do them before it fails.
