Helped TGIK put in a set of CREE LED headlight replacements. Pretty easy to do - the way the fans attach to the back of the bulb is shit, and he used some heavy-duty velcro to attach the power supplies.
The light is amazing - and very strange. All of the signs on the interstate looked like they were internally illuminated. My only concerns are the beams seem pretty wide - so possibly more glare for oncoming cars - and lifetime of the bulbs. Anyone have long-term use of one of these kits who can speak to the longevity? this is close to the kit he used it had a different configuration for the bulb |
