I just got a couple of Clore Jump N Carry JNXCF packs and one of them has a bit of a gash in the positive cable.
Is there anything that can repair it? I figured maybe a rubber repair kit of some kind? It is deeper than it looks in the picture but I don't believe it is all of the way through the insulation. I already contacted them and they are sending me a replacement cable but wouldn't mind having a spare if it is easy. The replacement looks to be easy as well (I hope) so I should be gtg in the next few days.

I'm sure that there are a few rubber coatings you could put on there. But for me, I'd wrap the piss out of it with electrical tape and call it a day. Some good 3m electric tape. It's not like it's going to electricute you, and 12V DC won't really arc... Just don't stab it with a screwdrive then lay it on the chassis. |
