I'm looking to purchase a set of torque wrenches in 3/8, and 1/2 and I have heard good things about the CDI brand which is a subsidiary of Snap On. Anyone here have any experience with these?  I am looking at the all aluminum with knurled handle version not the ones with plastic handles.

They're good to go. Same torque mechanisms as Snap On with cheaper ratcheting heads. If my old SO's were to fail or disappear, they'd be replaced with CDIs.

there were some tests done a little while back by hot rod I think.
unless you are using these as a professional, you might save some money and pick up the harbor freight ones.

they decided they were just as accuate and held the torque value quite well.
