I have a bad vibration in a 2004 Maxima, 3.5 with a 6 speed manual, 117,000 miles.

In December I took it in to have the front struts replaced and they replaced them along with the mounts.  When I got it back there was a slight vibration that seemed to be coming from the front and it has gotten steadily worse.  I have taken it back twice and the shop rotated and balanced the tires and double checked everything but the vibration is getting worse.

They said they checked the struts, motor mounts, brakes, rims, and tires.

What do you guys think?

Are the new struts factory spec?  OEM or after market?

Check the wheel bearings unlikely but there is a chance that they were worn down that bad.  Also check the ball joints as well.

I am pretty sure they used KYB struts but I can look under there in the morning.

Any slop in the steering? I just noticed a little bit of a vibration in my car and found out the inner tie rods and bushings had started to fail.
