First official mod to my truck.  I've been eying these for a while but they don't make one for the Charger or my wife's GMC Envoy.  This is the Console Vault: http://www.consolevault.com

I routinely CCW, but in Ohio there are off limits places.  I always hated leaving my piece in a locked glove box because they're easily defeated.  For those who don't, you can lock up what ever you want.  They have a keyed option as well, but I went with the combo lock.

Install was sailor proof (you .mil guys will get that).  4 self taping screws, set the combo and roll out.  Fit is great, the only thing I would change is the thin felt in the bottom.  I might put some thicker foam in it.

Some pics fresh out of the box.

The install, here's looking down at the console in the 2011 Ram Crew Cab:

Drop in the box and secure the 4 screws.  NOTE, do not remove the 4 T-15 screws that hold the liner of the console in.

90 seconds later, it's beer thirty...

There is no rubbing on the bottom of the top half of the console, and she's in there tight.  For those who are .mil or LEO's call Console Vault and he won't charge ya shipping.

I was going to do the same in my Charger, but I let her go, so no need now.  They do make them for 2000 and newer Ford trucks though.
